How Does Co-Injection Work?
The two injection units do not operate independently — they meet inside a combined nozzle. First, Unit A injects: the first material adheres to the mould wall and forms the outer skin. Then Unit B follows: the second material flows into the core of the first, pushing it forward. The result is a part with an outer skin of Material 1 and a core of Material 2.
